Edinburgh Hotels?

    Hi,

    Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent hotel in the centre of edinburgh for as cheap as possible... here's the catch... During the Fringe Festival (august).

    Sorry, but I couldn't resist that one.

    I'd imagine you'll find that a VERY tough challenge. Start trawling through the links in the "Useful sites..." sticky at the top of the forum asap and you might, might, might just get lucky. I wouldn't bet on it though.

    i can recommend the jurys hotel there. lots of people i know have stayed there and said its a great place, not to dear and very central.

    I went to Edinburgh last year and we stayed in the Travel Lodge and would reommend it. Its very central just off the Royal Mile and only a 10 min walk from where the airport bus leaves you. You wont need to get a taxi or bus anywhere as within 10 min from all the sights, pubs, clubs n shops. Its really cheap do and they do a great all you can eat breakfast for about 10 euro!
