The Darkness is only out on 360 in June, PS3 version delayed until end
of July. Pity as I was going to get it on PS3 if both out on same day,
just to burn the cobwebs off mine.

You can import the new Ninja Gaiden game on ebay now for only €45. Its something im looking into.

Ive got Resistance and Motorstorm and i never play my PS3 so im gonna get 2 more games, MLB 2K7 and one more from Ninja Gaiden, F1 Championship and Vitua Fighter 5.

Rainbow Six Vegas is out on friday maybe you will consider getting it instead of the darkness as it looks far better imo..

I second the recommendation for Rainbow 6, it's probably one of my top
3 games on the 360 and even nearly 6 months after finishing the
single player, I still enjoy it online or co-op. If it's half as good on the Ps3
it'll be a 'must-have' title.

In the immediate future (well, in the next month), The Darkness, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Hot Shots Golf 5 & Singstar should be out somewhere in the world (all of them here, except for HSG). There's some others that might be of interest depending on what you're into (e.g. Transformers, Armoured Core 4, Harry Potter etc.). Super Stardust HD is out on the network next week and might be worth a look too, it's getting good reviews.

Sigma, Hot Shots, Singstar, Super Stardust and maybe The Darkness are on my list.

Ninja Gaiden is the only new game I'm interested in. Will be getting The Darkness on 360. I just want Heavenly Sword, Warhawk and Assassins Creed to come out (though the latter may be bought on the 360)

The Darkness for the PS3 is out today in the states. My brothers over there now, I'll get him to pick it for me. Then next on my shopping list is rainbow 6 vegas.

Amazon.com, eb games, barnes & noble have the darkness listed for today. Just checked videogamesplus and they have it listed for tomorrow. Why is the european PS3 version delayed for almost a month,while the xbox isnt?

At a guess I'd say becuase of the Blu-ray. A hell of alot more factories making DVD's compared to Blu-rays.

Picked it up friday. Seems like it might have been a bit rushed.
They've dumbed down the game, and the controls are good until you need to move, look and fire at the same time (which is actually most of the time).

I've only played into the third chapter, but the difficulty spikes in places which can be annoying, some stages are much too short and others much too long.

If you're a fan of the AC games before this, its probably a bit of a let down. If you thought the previous games were too slow and overly complex, you'll probably like it.
