    How much would it cost?
    It depends on:

    1. The time.
    2. The number of passengers.
    3. Whether it is pre-booked or not.

If you want to try the bus, it'll cost you €1.60.
Use the following from Pearse Street/Westmoreland Street/Wellington Quay:
    25, 25A, 66, 66A, 66B, 66D, 67, 67A - they'll leave you on the main Lucan Road at the footbridge (Marks & Spencers end). Journey time about 30 minutes.

A closer alternative is the 78 and 78A from Aston Quay. They'll leave you right up to the Vue Cinema but cost you €1.90. The 78 is quicker, but there are only two evening departures with a journey time of about 50 minutes.
The 78A tends to be frequented by drug-using skanger types, so use at your peril. Journey time varies from an hour to 90 minutes depending on time of day.
