Won't an upgrade like this up the power above the 1j mark?

I was just curious if its a illegal I wont bother. Are ye sure?

328fps with a 6mm .2g bb is the legal limit. An upgrade like this will push the VSR way above this so yes it is illegal to hold it without a license and you wouldn't be able to use it at any skirmish sites over here.

I did a lot of research about most of the Gas cylinders out their and the king arms is 500-700fps, the rest are about the same (but all above the Legal limit). Best option is to get a new spring powered cylinder , their are Pre-assembled cylinder kits and all you need is the spring (1j spring like the "Prometheus MS100 spring"). Its Also recommend to upgrade the Trigger sear and get a Piston sear BUT i read its not needed.

This upgrades power also depends entirely on what gas you use aswell. Does it give a chrono reading for it running on 134a?

It wouldnt really matter though. Even if you only plan on using a weak gas, the gun itself would still have greater than 1 joule potential.

But so does a decent KJW's full metal pistol...mine can penetrate both sides of a coke can effortlessly on that Cybergun gas I had that day in your place.

There's a huuuuuuuuge different between a gas powered sniper and a kj works gas pistol.

A gas sniper pushing those fps would be able to penetrate every part of the can. including the top thick metal. Would be able to shatter a glass.

I don't really trust the through both sides of a can test. On the poor mans chroo it says -

    BOTH SIDES
(BB makes it straight through and exits on the other side) 350 to 370fps

Now I'm starting to think that's greatly exaggerated. My sniper rifle can do that but when I chronographed it I got 328fps on the dot.

Best thing to do would be to chrono it out in HRTA some day.

My rifle at the moment can pierce coke cans on both sides and break bottles from about 12 feet away without any modification.

Seeing as the OPs questions have been answered and this is just going to turn into a "my gun can break X from X distance!" thread, I think it's best locked.
