    Hi all,
Was in New York a few weeks ago.
I've uploaded a few of my pictures. I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments on them if you had the time.

You can check out my Filckr pix.

    Thanks in advance.

That's freaky. I was in NYC last year, and took pictures of most of the same stuff, even your squirrel! I love your shot of the little squirrel though, it's as if he posed for you. The Bull on Wall Street looks fantastic with the sun reflecting off it's nose, and I'm also impressed with Grand Station - that's a difficult venue to shoot, it's quite dark, and you have to play a game of under/over exposure to get everything in, but keep the glare from the windows out.

    Well done!

Thanks very much everyone, really appreciate you taking the time to view them.

Ned it's funny you mention that because that's exactly what myself and the girlfriend said when the squirrel came over to us. It was like "oh my god, is he posing for me". The only thing that annoyed me was I didn't take that shot on my own camera. That was our last day and the weather was fairly miserable so I didn't fancy hauling my camera around. I took that picture on my girlfriend's pocket camera.

New York is a photo wet dream :D

    :D

Shep, that Hectic New York Morning one was a tricky one to get. I was in a diner type place for breakfast, had to adjust the camera a lot to get everything into the shot as I had to rest it on the table cos I couldn't fire the flash.

The shot was made all the more difficult as there was some old Chinese guy at the table next to me looking at me with a look that said "what the hell are you doing taking a picture of that guy while he's asleep". I was half expecting him to go over and wake the other guy to rat on me :D

I don't know how many times I checked the settings on the camera to make sure the flash was off cos I thought to myself, if this flash goes off he's waking up and I'm likely to have my ass kicked by some erratic New Yorker.

That shot is probably one of my favourites because I thought everything came together for it, in my opinion. The City That Never Sleeps, the guy asleep and the near empty bottle of Gatorade. That's just my pure amateur opinion anyway :D

Many thanks again to everyone for taking the time to comment.
