ACU. Ye or Ne?

I was wondering what peoples opinions on ACU were there seemes to be alot of people wearing it at HRTA and I want to get a decent top and trousers.

Was looking at getting these. Would I be better off getting marapat?

I'm not too mad on those digital patterns at all. Much prefer traditional ones.

What type of US loadout?

ACU works in certain areas , other camos work better in other areas.

It all depends on what you want to do Liamo.

i think its just "fowl" looking ,still i cant decide meself what camo i like the most but it aint ACU

Although it's the official uniform of Na Taibhse, I really am not keen on it and don't think it's that effective (at least in HRTA and Predator).

I prefer the Digital Marpat Woodland.

i prefer multicam but i do like acu aswell.
one of my fav patterns is the choc chip desert storm camo.
no use in anywhere other then sandy conditions though.

agree with shiva, think MARPAT is the way of the future, haven't used it in the Field so to speak but from the pictures on-line it works way better than traditional camo

Gotta represent old-skool on this and vote no, think its terrible. Iv been looking at ordering myself some Multicam online tho, around $110 for the pants and jacket tho, but it is the official high-quality stuff.

i like the "digital" style patterns myself, and acu is pretty good, but it's a bit too light in colour for hrta...

would love some multicam, but it's so bloody expensive

I'v never liked them, i just don't think they work, ok they work better than blue jeans and a black t-shirt but the traditional camo is still the most effective... I vote: Ne
