Just a general question, if a player talks german as a example to another player at the table is this allowed? If not, whats the ruling and whats the story online.

I've notice since Ipoker that Germans, French etc, discussing hands and players in there home language, this is sharing and passing of information which is against the rules.

    Views please!

I was chatting in irish with some guy from dublin the other night on party. Two germans got a bit irate over it. We then asked one of them if he was an iasc or an asal - real dumb stuff. Then they started discussing PT stats in german. Gowlbags. As far as I could gather one was more or less boasting to the other that he was 12/8. The asal was congratulating him on his discipline I presume. He said he was 18/4 and a sad emoticon

I wondered about this, since I often see germans and stuff talking on party, is there a rule of only english at the tables?

Learn to speak French and German. Problem solved, and as a bonus you'll have a massive edge over the non tri-lingual players.
