I am trying to find out if it is worth going to thailand in september or is the monsoon season too much of a downpour to enjoy yourself. Also is it a lot more quiet this time of year due to the above. Would it make any difference waiting till october?

I would like to spend a couple of days in the north and then go down to the islands, full moon party etc.

went to thailand last sept and thought it was grand.

maybe rained in the morning for an hour or so but nothing to stop you doing anything.
