edit hand 2 i raise. Your only behind to a flush and if he has it he played it oddly. You'll see Aq,a7,q10,weaker sets enough for me to raise

Why not, checks on the turn with an OESD , gets a free card, hits and bets. Its not impossible. Coupled with the Flush its a fold from me. But hey I could be wrong, hoping OP called tho to see his hand if nothing else. 16 hands is really nothing to go by.

well if hes the type of player who donkbets with kj on a q27 board and calls a raise, i think any sensible analysis can go out the window.

and i would never fold this.

Never played on GJP but you get that kinda play at .25/.50 level on other sites. Anyway op, tell us what ya did already!

H1:
I bet the flop at those stakes. At 0.5/1 or 1/2 I might consider sometimes checking that flop, but not at these levels.

H2:
Bet the turn and get more money into the pot, and don't give a free card.

I'd play hand 1 the exact same way and fold river. Looks like two pair, possibly kj, aj, a5, a3. Flush out there aswell. I fold.
Hand 2: I'd raise a little more preflop, but 2 is fine. Flop is fine. I'd definitely bet that turn about 3/4 pot. Can't be scared of the flush at this point unless he comes over the top.
As played I'm raising his bet. Seeing as though he only has 19 left(I think) after his bet, I'm just pushing. Possibly a raise to about 12/13 could be the move here, as I can see him calling it with a worse hand, whereas he may fold a worse hand to a push.

Flop check is fine imo, and I usually c bet every flop.

River; meh this is probably a fold.

The reason i posted these although there standard enough is ive found im calling too light when i know theres a good chance im beat and not thinking about what hands i beat that might make such a raise. As in the 1st hand example before id think i have Top Pair 2nd best kicker ill call. But as the hands played Would AT-A6 make that bet on the river and i dont think so and im not willing to invest 1/5th of a buyin on it, before i would have just taught i have TP 2nd best kicker maybe hes betting with AT. But i posted these because i dont want to become a nit either and be pushed off hands.

Hand 1: I ran the what do i beat that makes that river raise through my head and although hes turn bet looks suspicious i wasnt confident i was ahead.

Hand 2: When he originally made the $1 flop bet i taught it smelt of Flush Draw, i see this alot at this level, theyll make a small bet and call a raise and do the same on the turn if they dont hit and either fold or bluff the river if the river if they miss.

So when the flush dropped on the turn it stunk of flush to me, call it a hunch or read or whatever, i wasnt playing with scared money and im not scared of a flush board if i think ive the best hand but as played i had him on the flush. I felt if i bet the turn he would flat call and then the pot would be out of control making a hard decision on the river. I just called behind hoping the board would pair and i knew then i couls till get all hes money in at that stage.

Then came the river, it didnt improve my hand if he had the flush and im thinking what hand would he call a RR with on that board that i beat. Theres the unlikely straight, Maybe KdJd, The flush. I felt that if i RR here the flush was coming over the top and most 1 pair hands were folding, id probably get a call out of 2 pair or set but if i raise to say $15 he has only $30 stack so im pot committed if he comes over the top am i willing to call and take a $11 loss or win or am i going to RR and put $30 at risk. I suppose alot of you will say its MUBS but i just flat called and i just felt i was beat and he showed AdTd
