irish voip operators who accept a port from eircom

    wondering if we could update this

    1. Blueface , of course.
    2. NTL with their new telephone service ?????
    3. Digiweb for metro yeas but for voip ????
    4. Smart 076 ???? It is a voip service anyway whether you are a smart dsl or fibre customer .
    5 any other business ?


    and in the case of 2 or 3 do you have to have a BB service with them or will they still take a port

    2. NTL do. In fact you can port from Eircom or any of the other landline operators. I'm with Perlico for my telephone service and thought I would have to sign back to Eircom before porting to NTL but not so according to NTL. Their website says you must subscribe to the NTL digital TV package to get the phone service. No mention of having to have their BB.

    Smart do/did last I knew, although their website is lacking updates since the service started.

    You can get Smart076 in any area all you need to do is install X-Lite as your VoIP client
