Does any1 know how often I should clean my rifle (mauri vsr10 pro rifle)? Also what should I use for cleaning and lubricating it? Thanks in advance.

How long is a piece of string? :D Ah no, it all depends on how much you use it really. Obviously because its not an AEG it doesnt pump out large volumes of bb's and the action isnt collecting or gathering oil or grease compared to the electric gear box/piston of an electric gun.

I find with mine all I really have to do is run a patch down the barrell every so often, I spray a patch with silicon oil, run it up and down the barrell a couple of times (make sure the hop up setting is on 0). I then cut a fresh, clean patch and run that up and down the barrell to remove the excess silicon oil, and polish off the inner barrell. You'd be surprised just how much dirt it can collect! As a general rule, to avoid heavy grime buildup I usually run a semi-sprayed patch down the barrell after I have done shooting it.

The bolt I slip out every now and then, when I feel its getting a bit dry or just needs a clean. Again, clean off any old oil with a rag, spray it with silicon oil, and again use a clean cloth to take off the excess and polish off. With the bolt out I usually give the inner of the reciever a clean down too.

You can take the trigger mech. apart if you want to, but I fond no need for it, not yet anyway and I've had the vsr for nearly a year.

Basically, just worry about your barrell and bolt.

No problem, a patch is any piece of lint free cloth approx 10mmx30mm that doesnt fall apart or fray once you cut it, you dont want bits of material getting stuck in your hop up unit :p
