If so, would you recommend it?

Are you thinking about going to college? What are you studying now?

There's a few threads floating about which have some good advice just in case no-one replies...

Over on the Mathematics Board, there's a thread discussing the course (albeit in a previous incarnation). Still good advice. There's also a thread on this board from a few years ago (sniff) about Maths -vs- Theoretical Physics which again might be helpful.

But I think a few of, eh, those sort frequent these parts. But you may wish to ask questions a bit more expansive than would you recommend something. For example, I would recommend Peanut Lion Bars to people, but most other people found them disgusting.

Do you wish to know what the course is like? What you do? What you get when you graduate? What areas you are challenged in?

I'm just finished my Leaving and I'm fairly sure I'm going to do Maths in Trinity.

That other thread sorts out most questions really anyway, thanks. I was at a talk for Medicine and the lecturer said that Medicine shouldn't be done if you want any kind of a social life, is a Maths degree similar?

Yeah, alright. What's the story with on campus accommodation or anything like that, should I be applying around now? I heard that sort of thing gets booked out quickly.
