first off thanks for reading this,

I installed a brand new thermaltake heatsink on my RAM.
I have two sticks of RAM.
I installed the heat spreader on 1 stick and it fitted perfectly.
I installed the other pointy things(can't remember what there called, there in the picture)on the other.

now,my CPU heatsink(Akasa Evo 33) is slightly bigger than my old one(standard AMD cooler).
When I insert the RAM which has the pointy heatsink on it it cannot fit because the CPU Heatsink is in the way.
    Its about 1mm too big.

I have tried everything to get it in.
I don't have a clue how to do it,and I can't take the heatsink off.
This is a 1GB stick so I'm not replacing it.
Maybe I could sand down the prongs about 1mm on the RAM Heatsink.
I can't change the CPU cooler either.

    Here;s my heatsink:

    Thanks a million for reading!
