I haven't updated yet, I've heard it breaks Uno and it won't reinstall. Brushed metal... *shudders*

    Can anyone confirm this?

Well havent done it on my home machine but as I said updated the work machine. 8/9 Macs in the office were ok. One had serious startup issues that I am in the process of fixing.

    Update to follow...

advice: hold off till the end of the day I reckon (at least) (unless you know what you are doing to recover if things dont go well)

I usually wait a few days when i see an update. I saw this update and i am going to wait till sunday ( at least) cause i am one of those that would not know what to do if all went wrong.

Ah what the hell, I decided to live dangerously and install, and now

    ALL MY MUSIC IS GONE!!!

    Just kidding :D

It did the double restart on me too, but everything seems ok. Uno won't open any more, it thinks I'm running 10.4.1  but the previous interface settings weren't affected. :)

I suspect there'll be a few third-party apps that will get confused by the ".10".

Well that one Mac at work is still in trouble. Only starting up in safe mode :|
Been spending all day looking at sick Macs, haven't written a line of code yet today :( I mean :D

Add Onyx to that list. Mistakes new apple update for 10.4.1 and says installed version of Onyx (most recent) is incompatible.

    Oh well!:(

That would make me stop buying Apple and stop using a machine full stop.
    Single. Worst. Nightmare! heehee

Just updated. Nothing terrible so far. If anything my Mac seems to be running slightly better.

I updated yesterday - all is well except boards.ie is running slow or not at all, but I don't think that's as a result of my 10.4.10 upgrade :D

With this new update does the eject button now work again with one tap? If so I'm not a happy bunny. I loved the fact you had to keep it pressed down, the amount of times I accidently hit off it and ejected my disc was really annoying!

As far as I can see the amount of time needed to hold down the eject button has been slightly reduced but still have to hold it down.

Also am I imagining things or does Camino run slightly faster after the update?

i loved it when all you had to do was tap the eject button, i hate holding it down

still going to wait a few days to download i am.

I haven't noticed anything like this yet. But I guess if this problem proves big enough there'll be a 10.4.11

I notice there's a security update already. Maybe 10.4.10 caused a security hole...

The update may not to be compatible with Parallels- lost all recognition of USB devices, drat!

Update on the "iPop" issue: it seems to mostly affect intel macs and is especially noticeable when connected to external speakers. The sound is being put to sleep and pops again when woken up.

Running fine so far - Uno's complaining if I try run it but as mentioned before any changes already made to the UI are still there. A weird issue I was having seems to have been solved (in 10.4.9 all my volumes started ejecting themselves if I plugged an iPod, external USB2 hard drive and EyeTV Hybrid into the Mac at the same time)
