I know there are a lot of sticky's, but how about one on tragets?

    Let me explain.......

Any of you do target shooting with your airsofts or is it gaming? If ye do targeting how about a pic/scan of a target you were pretty pleased with and post details as follows:

    - Gun used
    - Distance from target
    - BB weight
    - Hop up setting (where appropriate)
    - Any other special features of the gun, such as sights, upgrades, etc etc.

Might help other people get an idea as to the accuracy of a gun they intend to buy..........OR, just show the rest of the guns what a crack shot you are :D

I dont know, just an idea.

I'm sure this could be done. As for a sticky though, there are just too many. We have six.(Crazyrabbits one is just temp) At the moment I'm trying to figure out a way of making the census one stickied without making MORE stickys.

Just go ahead and try and make a thread out of it. See how it goes.

    - BB weight:0.3g
    - Hop up setting (where appropriate):Full
    - Any other special features of the gun, such as sights, upgrades, etc etc:Was using a tasco 3x32 and in perfect conditions was hitting a coke can 3/4 times.

Cheers o1s1n, I know what you mean now that i think of it, might not be a thread that would get all that much traffic, cheers ;)

110ft......thats 33m or there abouts! Thats not bad going, and hop up on full liamo? I've never been that adventurous, I've only ever gone as far as 6 clicks for .25g bb's at 22m.

I'll get some pics of targets tomorrow.

Oh......and no one poking 20 holes with a pencil in a one inch bulls eyes and saying you were shooting from 40m!! :D

Ok, I found a vid I made a couple of weeks back, you can see it below:

    http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu4_Mqcsnng

    - Gun used : VSR 10 Pro Sniper
    - Distance from target : 18m approx
    - BB weight : .25 Excel
    - Hop up setting : six clicks
    - Any other special features of the gun: Tasco 3-9x40 scope, one joule spring.

Target is an A4 sheet, centre square, is if I remember correctly 50mm square, 30 rounds were fired, although I chambered two at one stage and shot them off to the side, therefore you only see 28 rounds hit the target.

The gun was fired cold, so a few of the first shots fall low, I was firing from the shoulder whilst sitting, no bipod or rests.

    :o:confused:

By cold I mean, it was the first time I had shot it in a couple of days so it took a while things to warm up....if that makes sense. You can see yourself how the bb's start at the bottom but end up in the bull. I was aiming at the centre all the time.

Wow........interesting, so no one does a bit of target practice with there airsoft guns

I would have thought with all ye guys here and the amount of guns that ye'd have a ton of great targets to show and brag about how acurate your guns are

Come to HRTA on saturday and I'll fire some shots at you, trying to shoot/create a 'Smiley' face on you. We can then use the little red marks on your skin to determine grouping and accuracy.

Moving targets are so much more fun...

After being hit a few thousand times, I barely flinch anymore unless it's a short range hit to the fingers, neck or arse!

Right...since none of you took the OPs request seriously, I'll oblige him.

Did this little beauty last weekend in gale force 6 winds, at 500 yards, with a .12g BB in an extra-wide bore barrel on my TM MP5. And just to make it more challenging, I removed the hop-up completely.

But was that enough for me ? Hell no...I'm so damn hardcore, I took out the gear box and motor, and used a McDonalds straw to just BLOW down the barrel !

I realise it looks like I just hit the target once, but I can assure you I emptied a 300 round hi-cap into this target....its just that every single BB went straight through the original hole made by the first.
