Memory fails Orthos at stock settings !!!!

I've been playing with Orthos and had a persistant fail after 15 or so seconds.

    Here is the report:
    Test 1, 4000 Lucas-Lehmer iterations of M19922945 using 1024K FFT length.
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
    Torture Test ran 0 minutes 5 seconds - 1 errors, 0 warnings.
    Execution halted.

I have now discovered that I can get this failure at default BIOS settings by just changing my memory timings from 5,6,6,15 to 6,6,6,15 !!!!!!

    This seems VERY strange.
I thought that 6,6,6,15 would RELAX the demand on the memory.

Any advice ? does my memory suck ?

    Kit is as follows:
    E6600
    Asus P5B Delux
    OCZ Gold XTC 6400 (2GB)

    Thanks

Mem voltage is at the max allowed for that Brand (2.1V)

    I'll run memtest later today.

With further testing I found that 5,6,6,18 was enough to allow me to overclock all the way up to 3.6G (400 x9) and still pass ORTHOS. But I can only do this when memory speed is set to the lowest option.
