I'm not sure but I think you need to go down to your local garda station and get premission from the superintendent. There are people on the boards who will know more about this.

Yo Domino, i replied to your pm and email there.

Registering your marker should be just like getting a shot gun or other firearm, but its a little tricky.

There is no set way for markers, but this is my personal opinion on how to do it, as it worked for me.

1.Go to your local guards, ask the firearms officier if they have any idea about.
    2. Show him/her reciepts to show that you have purchased the marker and that you need an authorisation for it to be allowed to enter the country.
    3. Present letters from to land owners, in our case two paintball venues such as barrage or skirmish, saying that they will allow you to use ilegally help markers there.
    4. Fill out the yellow form applying for a firearms cert, even though it is not really useful, just to get it on the system.
    5. Present a letter to say that you are a member of some sort of 'gun club'. I used a letter from the college paintball society. The IPPA will be able to issue letters very soon.
    6. Play the waiting game.

Of course this is just what I had to do, it could be completely different for people in other areas.

    Richie
