Graybo is dragged away from Howth for an hour this evening in what I presume will be an awful RTE version of the BBC2 series.

    Mike.

RTE keep finding things for him to do rather than looking for new/younger people.

I thought they already had that show. It was on last year. It had Gaybo and a load of people nobody knows. Oddly enough, it wasn't very good.

yeah it was on before. Graybo complaining about the Irish pronounciation of the soft t at the end of words, right is rice, yet is yes, hut etc etc. Get over it gaybo, that's how we speak

It was on at Christmas 2005.

It was OK, but not a patch on the BBC's "Grumpy Old men" IMO.

Another excuse by RTE to get that cravat wearing smug git back on our screens. Still it might justify his 200 grand retainer that the State broadcasters still pay him !!!!!

Agreed, I thought he was supposed to have retired years ago, didn't he get a big sendoff. Yet he still keeps popping up at regular intervals, at least with ITV/BBC retired means just that.

Give the younger generations a chance Gay, just as you got yours in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Not like that. He was on about how people said "righsh" instead of "right" and so on. I agree with him 100% and it's not how the majority of the country speaks.

He left the late late show and soon after, left his Radio One slot. He never retired.

They should have a programme where they get people on the street to moan about Gaybo and all of the other "celebrities". Good cheap entertainment!
