2007 NHL Entry Draft

    NASN will be broadcasting the NHL Entry Draft from Columbus on friday night. The event has changed a bit since the new CBA came into effect, cutting the draft rounds down to seven from nine.

    I used to go on the road with a friend of mine and travel to the draft for a few years there. It is absolutely killing me that this year the Chicago Blackhawks get the #1 overall pick and it is the weakest draft in years.

    Early indications are that the Blackhawks will select Patrick Kane out of the London Knights with the first pick.

    Anyone else plan on following the draft this weekend ?
