    Hi guys.

Have a nad c32o amp with a nad cd seperate a few years now, never bothered with a turntable.

I was going to buy one when i realised that there was no phono sockets! tried another nad turntable someone else had in aux sockets but to no avail.

Someone has just told me that If i buy a turntable with a built in pre amp and hook it up to the aux sockets it will work.Is this true? dont wont to waste a 100 yo you`s or so on a red herring ! LOL.

    Thanks guys.

you can buy a turntable with a built-in pre amp.

or you can buy a regular turntable and then buy a separate pre-amp. you would connect the turntable to the pre-amp, and then pre-amp to amp in the aux socket.

Not dead, the Dublin shop went tits up but Belfast (same owner) is doing fine. Ring them for info, they're very helpful guys.... actually it's only a 2 hour drive from Dublin.
