    Maestro: posts the ante 500
    MrKind: posts the ante 500
    Shadow147: posts the ante 500
    theguns: posts the ante 500
    beerdonk: posts the ante 500

    >_>, I hate it, I think it's a situation where you're only going to get looked up by a better hand really, KQ, maybe KJo+ if they're gambly, 99+ with these stacks. Stacks aren't deep enough that you can call an AI if you rr . The way I see it, I would really really not want to get my stack in on A9o. I think you can pick a better spot imho. P.S remove results.

    Fold pf.

yea well needless to say that i pick one line and my mentor picked the oposite so lets hear from some more.... thanks for input!

    fold?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

What are your reads on your opponants, that is pretty vital and hard to give an answer without but as a standard I fold, if raiser is quite aggressive pf then I probably push

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 601 ✭✭✭C4Queen

The agressive ones here has been us, not possible to take one single blinds from us 100% gurantee is that, and the first raiser is weak that we know the second one has played steady but done some limping and then fold on flop bets.

Without reads saying the UTG+1 player was getting out of line or that the SB was a mongo, my default here would be to fold.

I may re-raise as a squeeze but my cards would not be huge a factor behind doing that when compared to the players involved, (their stack sizes are about perfect in this situation, but our image doesn't seem to be and we don't know anything about the players tendancies) and actually A9o would be a slight deterrant for me in this spot. The likelihood of being in a 70:30 (dominating A calling) compared to a 60:40 (us not being dominated and having 2 "Live cards") would make me not want to do it with this hand. But there can be arguments made for having an A against 88-KK, but mneh, there's more AQ and AK hands then those and KQ is never calling here.

But as I say it's more to do with the players then my hand whether I decide to squeeze here or not.

I'd contemplate a squeeze play here if my image allowed it, otherwise fold. You have Ace, crappy kicker, off suit. Insta-chuck to a raise and call.

OHOH, you are asked to put 8K into a 26K pot. 3.2 to 1 ain't that bad, but against 2 players, ain't that good.

You need a better reason than "I'm getting great odds here, so I should call", imo. And I don't see a squeeze being very profitable either: shoving isn't great with those stacks, and I can see any smaller raise getting called, or pushed over. Your hand is muck, just fold.

My opinion is that there is no need to get involved in this spot with a marginal-bad hand against 2 opponents unless you have specific reasons to do so. You mention that you have been the aggressor a lot, so a reraise from you will get called/shoved over by the likes of AT/AJ most times I would imagine and probably not enough by hands that you have beat currently, and I would imagine unless theguns was at it completely, all his chips are going in, whatever about the SB.

I know aggression can be a big factor in winning, but I don't consider this the right spot. IMO of course.

Its a clear fold with caller in the hand.If itwas just two of you in the hand a push may not be too.I have played a lot of games with MrKind ican guarantee he wanted too push hes pushbot hyper aggressive. Also hes an abusive little shyte hes one online abuser id like to meet in person so bring him too international open and wells ee how yappy he is then cheers.

A fold for me , just about , even if you flop an ace you have a lousy kicker.
    Keep your powder dry.

Well.... as it goes for MrKinds behaviour online one can say a lot, i know, but he is without doubt one of the more pleasent men i meet in my entire life and i think i talked to one or two now and then ;) .... trash talk around table is just that....

And when it comes to STT not many have his experience so am happy!

thanks for the input guys, i will post the rest later on, right now am back from removeing a TOOTH, OMG big whole, big face, and soon BIG BIG pain!

Stoped and bought a bottle of wiskey on my way home thouhg, isnt that what they do on all those Western movies when having tooth pain?

MrKind is a team of 3 or 4 players. All very feared. My money is on 'em!

Did MrKind win the mtt C4?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,751 ✭✭✭BigCityBanker

imo the prudent move here is to fold.

Nope he didnt win. And there is where the discussion started ;-), cos i say this hand lost us the win.....he won it two times that week and the third time on FT so i think thats good stats, MUST be his poker musa who contributes, or what you say Spoofingjam? Isnt i just the best railing bird help ever ;-) (i keept spoofingjam company one night online playing deep in a tourney, he was a bit tired so i told him weird waco things to wake him up LOOL)

I think thats just a myth that they are 3-4 players, i dont beliave that for one second but no big deal, am getting the help i need so i dont complain.

To me this is an easy fold but however this is how the hand continues.
Might maybe consider to see the flop and just call the 8k to do so but only since I paid already BB.

MrKind: raises to 159 462 and is all-in
    theguns: folds
    Maestro: is all-in 71 362.50

Returned uncalled bets 76,099.50 to MrKind
    FLOP
    4s 7s 6d
    TURN
    4 s 7s 6d Ts
    RIVER
    4s 7s 6d Ts 6c
    SHOW DOWN

MrKind: shows A d 9c (A Pair of Sixes, Ace high)
Maestro: shows Kd Kc (Two Pairs, Kings and Sixes, Ten high)
Maestro collected 181725 from Main pot

What was his reasoning on the push? I'd be interested in hearing them if he's as experienced as you say. Nearly all the replies here were for the fold.

I don't mean it as an insult so go ahead :)

I just get confused in some of your threads about what your talking about at times.

this is an easy one, he thought the guys would fold and he would win the pot. This time one of them had KK, that was a bit unlucky.

Obviously nothing wrong with folding this either.

    easy foldyy

Given your stack and the blinds I'd have waited for a much better position. It was just a race cum coin flip.

You could have seen a fair few more orbits and hopefully better cards to do what you did.

    Fold +1

Did you punch the mouse holder in the back of the head after the race? :p:)

Well....:p YEA i did! How did you know.....

But the play up to this was spot on beautiful so it was one bad decision and if they wouldnt have a monster hand we easy pick up the 30k in the pot so, ah well, win some lose some and back up on the horse!
