Anyone know if there is such a thing as a hyprid TV card for the PC which will recieve both Digital terrestrial TV and Satellite TV. I want to have my PC as a media centre and pvr Which one would you recommend. What should I be looking for PAL i guess (I thought this only applied to TV not PCs) MPEG2/4 CI slot EPG anything…

This card also allows reception of HD channels. Via Astra 2 (normal sky position) that means you can get the BBC HD test channel. Only a few programmes on each evening but a looping preview for the rest of the time. I'm very impressed with the clarity of HD compared with regular channels even on a small monitor.

The only downside with the card is that it's a bit cluncky to change from satellite input to antenna input (for the Irisih channels).
