Mate just rang me to say Gamestop in Donameade r selling off HD-DVDs for €9.99.... I might just take a spin out.......... n have a go on the PS3 he picked up too :rolleyes:

But HD DVD's will not work on a PS3 will they? That uses Blueray. You would need either a hddvd player or an Xbox360 with the hddvd add on would work.

exactly... He has a 360 n just got a PS3. He got the 360 at christmas n only took it out of the box tonight. He's a loon... PS3 wont get opened till tomorrow.

The 360 HD-dvd player will work on a windows pc, ud need a pretty beefy pc to use it tho... google it for more info.

Blue ray drives for pcs are about €230 now

you can pick up a HD DVD Xbox 360 player for €166 online..probably €150 if you look around
