Thanks, I don't have photoshop and the third pic, boxer Bernard Dunne, only required very little intervention using picasa

The second is the canopy of a local Aldi store collapsing during a fire that razed it to the ground.

Nice pictures, id really like the first one if the two people at the bottom werent involved, but i dont see where a crop would work either.
it would look great if it was just the first four with a little space behind them giving the impression of just them and the car for miles around

This photo is of a Garda search team leaving the scene after the body of a missing teen was discovered in the Canal. The day was bitterly cold with constant rain which I think adds to the pic. It is as taken with no processing.

2 and 3 are lovely. Not sure about number 1, but I guess in context it makes more sense.

its definetly got the cold, desolate thing going on, i just think the extra two people make it seem a little busy...moreso now that i know whats going on.
Still a great picture though dont get me wrong.

Taking your comments on board I've cropped it as suggested, not sure of it tbh.

I normally deliver my sports photos unprocessed to my employer who adjusts them, if required for publication.

Only getting into this side of photography as I was just point and click.

Really like the third one. Great silhouette with lovely contrast. Nice composition too.

Nah i prefer the original..:o as i said in the first post, i couldnt see where to crop because i felt it needed some space behind the first group of people.
    Stick with the first one:D

The second one is a great shot, I can almost feel the heat...
As for the cropping, I prefer the second one purely because the guy on the left isn't turning around, but it could do with some space behind the people all right.
