Win Vista & W/Less Network

    Hi,

I recently upgraded to Vista. We are using a wireless network in the house and the signal strength on the PC is excellent.

When I log onto this PC I can surf away on the Net quite merrily, but if I leave the PC for a time and return to it, it has lost its network connection. The signal strength is still excellent. Disconnecting from the network and re-connect to the router does not remedy it. Rebooting the PC does.

Has anyone come across anything similar to this with Vista and did you find a solution?

    Regards,

    D

have you checked power settings on the card in case it's being put on standby ?

Thanks Capt'n - you are on the ball. Never knew that a peripheral's power settings could be adjusted like that.

    Thank You.
