help, i am all googled out...m3 shorty and G&P stock

fellow airsofters,

i am about to buy (well maybe ) a TM m3 shorty. however i want to add a G&P extended stock. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?itm=GP-ACC-384_srch_m3

unfortunately i read 1 line on one baord about how u have to cut the m3 to get it to fit. i googled a lot (and i mean a lot) of the weekend to see if i could find a pdf or guide and i found bugger all. emailed wgc and unc, no reply....

i will puke blood if i have to go thru 20 pages of m3 stuff again.

anyone know about this modification. i read some of ye have the m3 shorty, so i am hoping you have the answer somewhere

pity they dont explain much more, but i'd imagine if it was a big job someone would have written a full guide on how to do it by now...

as much as i love boards.ie, i dont think anyone here has done that modification and there is only a 2 or 3 people that have the m3, but if you try the technical discussion section on arniesairsoft.co.uk, there are a lot of players from the uk/us on there and you'd be more likely to find someone that has done that mod...

Don't forget ASI. Not exactly as much a wealth of experience or knowledge as Arnies, but if you'd posted on ASI too, I'd have noticed it a lot sooner!

Take from the attached file what you will. Seems somewhat like Chinglish to me. The 1st & 2nd steps seem totally vague / strange, even to me as someone who's taken an M3 apart a few times before. I think those instructions are basically just a very long-winded way of saying: Screw the standard pistol grip off. Screw the extended pistol grip on.

I'm just waiting on my M3 shorty to arrive back from Sweden in the post before I add my stock to it and can let you know how it went in a few days when I've done so. But it doesn't look difficult by any means.

Edit: BTW, a much cheaper, and in my opinion, more practical mod / accessory for the M3 shorty is this:

The G&P extending stock isn't by any means cheap for all it is.

thanks casper, i searched high and low for that!!!...yes step 1 and 2 is a bit peculiar.

thanks for the offer on the new stock u are adding. any chance you could take a picture when you remove it? it appears you do have to hacksaw a bit off...and as u point out..its which bit?

not too sure if this will be any help, was looking around for a stock for the SPAS 12 i'm about to order, went to e-bay searched for shotgun stocks and got a load of them up, heres the link

jeeze some nice stocks there...some really nice ones....just bought the TM m3 so i will be looking for a stock soon...
