Hi i want to set up a website selling a range of different products, and it seems that dropshipping is probaly the best way for me to do things,Basically droppshipping is where you can sell products onlinw without having any stock.when the customer places an order you get on to your dropshiping company and they ship it out with only your company name on it.So its big in the us and in the uk but i dont think it is in ireland at all??So does anyone have experiance of this or can they advise where i can buy products wholesale prices to sell on my website.Does anyone know of a company in the uk that dropship items to ireland??Thanks

I have done a lot of research into this and it is very difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy dropshipper. I have found a few and some good wholesalers but will not divulge them here as I use them myself.

Alot of dropshippers on the net are just middle men - they take a fee from you and then use another dropshipper to ship your orders.

You can buy a list of dropshippers from various places but again alot of these can be useless. My advice is research, research, research!

Dropshipping is falling as an internet option unless its high value products.

The main problem is delivery is out of your control and you need to know stock is available.

Less companies are offering it and I don't know of any suppliers in Ireland that offer it.

The other key ingredient to e-tailing is for the customer to know the item is available immediately and will be delivered on time - my advice is for you to invest in some stock and see how things move along.
