not sure if this is the right thread.... I need to replace a rotting window. Got a couple of quotes which seem fairly pricey. Anyone know of reasonable place to get it done?

    depends where you are based!

most companies don't like the small jobs or replacing windows cos they take up more time. you also have to consider that after the window is replaced you'll have to replaster around it.

look for small companies doing windows and doors, they will be the most flexible.
