Hello just wondering if there is any point of a gang of lads going to waterford for a few days drinking low budget that kind of thing. If there any place with a good night life for 3 or four nights. Is there any camping sites?:o
    thanks;)

    i would say no

there arent any actual campsites in waterford city that i know of, the nightlife is good enough there but there isnt really anywhere to camp

tramore, which is only 10km away, has a few campsites there, but im not sure if any of them take tents. The nightlife in tramore is good enuf as well with 2 nightclubs, but sometimes there can be a bit of scum around the place in summer

there are campsites in waterford in boatstrand and bunmahon but these are villages and not suitable for going out in waterford or tramore from unless you have a designated driver

personally id say go to kerry or lahinch or somewhere like that. Have never camped there myself but from what ive heard they would be far more suitable for young lads than here in waterford

Most people in Tramore camp in any open space. Some of the caravan parks will allow tents, some wont.

B&Bs in Tramore (depending where you stay) are a cheap option. Probably cheaper at the lower end of the town, baring in mind you pay for what you get. :)
