I had Super Kick Off on the Master System and another one which was very poor, can't remember the name of it but maybe it is best forgotten. :)

I agree, I never liked Kick Off. Sensible Soccer however, that is a completely different story! So many hours spent.

The best football of game of all time has to be ISS Pro on the PS1. Still play to this day. Very fast gameplay and has a real arcade feel to the game. ISS rule (much better than FIFA:D )

No no no! ;) Swos gets my vote just for being one of the most fun to play games ever released. Then again that summed up most of Sensible Softwares titles. I bought ISS Pro on platinum way back when and alway remember the commentary screwing up.

Super Sidekicks is a classic, in terms of console games I'd say Actua Soccer 2 and Viva Football were good.

Obviously Sensi + ISS / Deluxe are greats as well.

The playstation ruined the ISS series, like so many other games that started off on other (superior) platforms before they got their hands on it (GTA anyone??)... i love an anti-sony rant :D

My favorite has to go to Amiga Sensible Soccer and C64's Emlyn Hughes'. PC wise - never picked up on it - but if I were to - I probably pick up a manager type - ie '07 Premier Manager.

I agree about the commentry for ISS, it was fairly crap, but come on, ISS Pro Evolution (1+2) just kick ass. The gameplay is brill, the graphics were okay for the time, but the way you can adjust the speed is true class.

We can agree to disagree I suppose, as long as you dont tell me that FIFA is better, unless it is FIFA International Footall 94 on the megadrive:D :D
