    Good advice. And I can't argue either with the ringing endorsment of Canon. I decided to become Canon-ised when I switched from film to digital having been a Nikon driver for many years and I'm glad I did.

    99% of my photos are taken in a focal length range of about a factor of 3.5x, so the "go for more and more zoom" advice seems unnecessary to me.
