    Hi Guys,

What's the story with holding onto your NCB and benefits if you sell your car & don't drive anything for the next couple of months? For example, I have 10 years accident free driving experience under my own name so full ncb, etc, etc. Sold my car a while back & do not intend to purchase for maybe 12 months or so.

When I was refunded by my insurer they told me I had 2 years to get another vehicle registered and insured in my name & I would still hold onto all benefits. Is this correct?

    Yes.

Its 2 years before you lose it.

Some places it might even be 3.
