Advice needed on sky installation

Thinking of getting Sky (currently with NTL) - want multiroom (2 rooms) and one of them to be sky+. Couple of questions:

    - For sky+ to work it needs two lnb's (or two connections on a quad). I presume this also needs two coax cables from the lnbs to the sky+ box?

-For the second box. Does this need its own cable from the lnb also or doe it diasychain off the first box.

-What about installation. I live in a large victorian and the only place I can put a dish is in the valley on the roof (3 floors up). Would this be a "standard" installation or am I looking at additional charges.

-any point in getting a seperate dish now (not mini dish) and lnb's and installing it, then ordering the sky stuff (minus the dish) when I'm ready?

We have builders in at the mo so was thinking of getting all the cabling done now while I have floors up.

    thanks,

For Sky Multiroom, you'll need a Quad LNB, which will allow for 1 Sky+ box and 2 further ordinary boxes. Sky+ needs two feeds from dish. Extra boxes also need independant feeds to the dish.

As the job is going to be 3 stories up, it will probably not be covered as "standard" installation. In fact, you should make sure that whoever you ring to install Sky that they have the ability to go up 3 stories.
