Anyone try this??? They are pills that you take before drinking and apparently it significantly reduces ur hangover the next morning. They are made from natural ingredients and contains no drugs. And they are availible in a lot of pharmacy's nationwide.I'm definitely going to go out and buy some tomorrow.I've been getting the worst hangovers in the past years and am sick of it at this stage

http://www.getalifeline.ie for more details and avalability.

Out of curiosity, what's the difference between a "drug" and a "natural ingredient" in a tablet?

Pfft. All you need is a pint of water at the very end of the night and you're sorted. Never failed me.

The activated charcoal in the Lifeline capsules absorbs the impurities in the alcohol which reduces the effect of waking up with a hangover. You will still be exhausted if you only have a couple of hours sleep though.

don't really get bad hangovers, i'm just knackered after a night drinking (maybe my 22 year old body has decided to give up)...

but so far, i know a few mates who've taken this stuff, and not one person has said they work in any way, shape or form. nor have i ever seen someone in a bar say "nah it's grand, sure i took a lifeline". surely if they worked everyone would take them, and every night would be a drinking night!

This has been discussed so many times before. The conclusion each time: placebo. There are better ways to avoid / lessen a hangover.

blow69: I'd still like an answer to Archimedes' question - PM me.
