I'd like to upgrade my graphics card so I can play more games on my laptop, without risking banjaxing my laptop, or spending a huge amount of money.

The laptop is inspiron 1501 and it has a radeon express 200m series card currently.

Could i get an external graphics card that would be good? If not, how easy is it to upgrade the internal graphics card?

Only a very tiny minority of laptops are upgradable that way...
