Hi Guys,

Looking for some input on a project I'm considering. Was reading a thread on biker.ie where some one had set up a camera & media recorder on his bike. This was using the Archos 504 and helmet camcorder, which comes in at about 400E from pixmania

My question is would there be a cheaper alternative to the Archos? My requirements would be:
- record at 480 lines & 35-40 FPS
- capacity for a min of 2hrs
- battery powered, either internally or possibly off the bike.
- USB (or similar) connection to copy onto a PC.

In other words, I don't need the screen, playback, MP3, FM radio...

Best I've found so far is this mustek on ebay. But I'm thinking if there was no screen, no hard drive (just SD cards?) then it could be cheaper again?
