    Hello!

Planning on purchasing a photo printer and need some ideas. Looking for a small compact printer that produces high resolution photos. Built in photo screen required. All price ranges considered. Any suggestions?

    Thank You!

I've used an Epson R800 for 2 or 3 years now and it's absolutely fantastic once you get your paper and colour profiles matched up. Are you totally without the PC option, yeah? There's the Epson R320M I think it's called which has the PictBridge, memory card slots and the small monitor you need for it to work stand-alone as well as connected to a PC, but it's missing the gloss cartridge and some other stuff from the R800.

Never owned one of those small 6x4 printers so I can't comment on them - was that what you were looking for?

Epson r360, 3.5 inch screen up to and including A4 pictures very quick too. Or an Epson 240 with a 1.8 inch screen but only 6x4 inch pictures

Thanks guys for your replies. Checked out the Epson over the weekend. Looks like I will go with on of their models.
