    Hello,

Kind of getting fed up using my old GateWay P700 for downloading and hard drive swapping. It has served me well as a uTorrent/second machine but I am over run with laptops etc and it is time to send it to PC grave yard. At 1600+ Punts at the time it was hard to let go :D

I was wondering if anyone uses any USB type devices to connect old IDE hard drives to their PC via USB or the likes?

    I found this http://www.gizoo.co.uk/Products/PCGaming/PCGadgets/IDESATADriver.htm

Anyone any recommendations or similar type devices?

All help appreciated! Many thanks in advance.

Would an external enclosure work (with USB 2.0)? About 20 europeans at Peats or are you trying to stay away from those?

Get one of these in Maplin, there on special this month. €42.99

I have one & they're a must have for anyone needing to connect IDE drives quickly & randomly. They come with their own power supply too.
