[Creative] Zen Vision

    AHH! Got a brand new creative zen from pixmania barely two weeks ago. Now theres a strange rattling noise coming from it when i shake it like there something loose. It still works fine though. Also the cover seems to be a bit loose at the bottom right of the screen. Does anyone know what pixmania are like for returns?

    Contact Creative directly and see if they'll sort out a replacement.
    Yes I know you should contact the reseller under consumer law
    but from all the feedback I've ever seen about Pixmania's customer
    service I reckon dealing with the French chaps would be as painful as
    popping your cojones into a smoothie maker.

    Im after registering it for return on the pixmania site. Might be able to cancel if creative will take it. Ill see what creative have to say. I looked on the an post site and its going to cost €30 to send to pixmania, do creative have an office in Ireland?

    Thanks :) now to think of an excuse for canceling the return to pixmania. Don't think they'd be too happy with "because yer sh*t" :p Any Ideas?

    I wouldn't worry about 'upsetting' Pixmania, doubt they'll even notice
    you never sent it back.

    I recently had a problem with my Creative Vision and their customer service was excellent. I first dealt with their online advice service and when they couldn't sort it they told me to send it to Creative Labs (Irl) Ltd., Ballycoolin Business Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15... They sent me a new machine, no quibble

    just on my way to send it to them in dublin, the chap im dealing with is very helpful and replies very quickly to e-mails , now hopefully the rest will go as smoothly. :)

    hopefully this will all end happily! It is great to actually hear of a company who actually help you with your problem promptly and without quibble. I'm glad I bought a Zen now.

    Wow im amazed at the high standard of service from creative, got an e-mail from them this morning saying that a replacement had been shipped, even gave me the ups tracking number.
    All those who own a creative product will be glad to hear this in sure. :)

    Yeah their Irish Customer Care are fantastic! I can't speak for other regions...

    forgot to update ye, got a brand new player from creative on last tuesday (came from Germany), working perfectly. thanks for sugesting to send it back to creative instead. Im sure all those out there with creative products will be glad to hear this.
