i got 79% in the mocks and didn't even know we had the exam that day:D . Got everything apart from the questions on set songs/works and coice songs/works and something about the belfast harp festival. I can easily get an A if i study for a bit before it though. As for predictions just learns the name composer and 2 features of each song off the day before.

i did that for the pre though. put in the rhythm over it and all the bar lines and a double bar line and the end and all the time signature aswell and the examiner wrote underneath it " this is rough work and cannot be marked" and gave me 4 marks for the bar lines. stupid #*%^$ I showed my teacher (who told me to do that) and she starts going on " oh why did you do that" when she said to do it  . another proper teacher told me it was ok tho.. does any1 know for definate???

The problem there is that it wasn't on the stave. If, at the end, you've still no clue of the melody, take your rhythm from where you wrote it first and rewrite it on the stave. You can get the marks for rhythm then.

The irish music question was a bit odd. Write about an organisation promoting trad??!! WTF!!??!! I chose the GAA and TG4- Said GAA played irish music at matches and TG4 broadcast ceili's :D

    FINISHED NOW! woohoo! :D

That's a really odd question. I would've wrote about ceoltas, but maybe that wouldn't have constituted as an answer because they may have been looking for an organisation separate to irish music that promotes it.

The GAA playing music at matches ?? hmm thats a new 1!!
I said that the GAA organises scór...which they do!

Irish music was hard tho what was the time signature of the song they played? we did nothing on any of that stuff

The Feis Ceoil seems like the most obvious answer to me there.
