behringer fx, is this a steal?

    hi all

    im looking out for a unit that will do reverse reverbs

    is this a steal? seems to have lots of features, 270euro off!?

    there is a guy on another forum who says the
    behringer t800-tube overdrive is superb

    do these guys make decent stuff?
    I know its cheap as chips but people seem to like some of thier stuff

    It's ok. Usually the Behringer stuff is worth what you pay for it but, generally, other manufacturers do it better, albeit more expensively. Having said that, I'd wager a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference in sounds in a blind test ;)

    I'll third Doctor J's response. I used a Behringer 12 ch desk and it was a disaster after a year or two. I use a Behringer 33ch stereo EQ and a Behringer 4 way x/over and both of them have been working perfectly.

    I replaced the Behringer desk with a Mackie and the difference in the quality of sound was very noticeable - but nobody complained about the sound quality of the Behringer desk until channels started to 'disappear'.

    You get what you pay for.
