hey does anyone know how you can set VISTA back to when you turned on the computer you know when it asks you for region, time, users bla bla. Basically how it was before you turned it on.

I know a reinstall will do it any easier way

What laptop is it? It depends. Most of them these days have a partition whith the backup so for instance, if it was a HP or Compaq you press F11 during boot and it will reload it.. but be warned, we are talking about wiping everything here so backup anything you want to keep.

Otherwise if you got a standard CD you woould boot off that and format, reinstall with that.

Yes - if you go to System Restore it gives you the option and you can restore Factory settings (________ Angel it is called)

Done it on Vista Basic the other day, worked okay (for now)

Vista is the Devils work though IMO!
