Better Reception Needed

    Hi,

I recently moved into a ground floor apartment off Booterstown Avenue and my cheapo Rabbit ears aren't up to the job of getting RTE etc...

Any recommendations for getting better reception, do I need a better aerial?, or will I have to do a deal with the devil (i.e NTL)
    • The apartment is South Facing but up against a big bank of trees
    • The TV and aerial will be indoors up against a big window

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    JMap

depending on how far away from the building the trees are satellite might still be an option

Rabbit ears are for VHF. I assume you're receiving from Three Rock, so you would need a UHF aerial. I'm not sure if you're close enough to be able to get a decent reception with an indoor aerial - someone who knows the area better may know.
