So my work pc died couple of weeks ago, (eventually) got it replaced today... Boss told me that i can take anything out of pc i want... It's an old Dell thing, ran XP Professional...

My PC at home is a PC Pro thing, about 3 years old... I don't know much about taking things out of one pc and into another, is it an easy job?

I would have taken the hard-drive away except that it was the hard-drive that killed the computer in the first place...

If compatible you could salvage the ram and cpu. Thats about all thats worth anything. Very easy to do aswell.

2 questions, how would you find the ram inside the machine? And how would i find out if compatible?
