home game, freezeout... 5,000 starting stack. 5 handed. This hand happens early on... we;ve only played a few hands and lloydy is up a bit!

SB: ditpoker, ~4750 (i'm playing reasonably passive so far)
    BB:
UTG: aodea (he doesnt come into play here but fun to give him a mention)
    Cut-off:
Button: LuckyLloyd 5,500 (has raised a fair bit preflop, playing aggressive in my opinion)

anyway, blinds 25-50 and we all see the flop. I'm holding Kspades 9spades.

    Flop: 8spades 6spades 3diamonds
checked around to lloyd who bets 225 into the 250 pot. i reraise to 550 and lloyd calls.

Turn is 9h: and lloyd says "that 9 helped me!"
I lead out, betting 800 into the 1350 pot. Lloyd beats me into the pot and is all in quicker than you can say "lloyd sucks at poker". he has me covered... and i've about 3,300 behind.

Now what do i do and why!?!?!

what happened was i instantly said "lloyd i reckon you have 78 so i call" and called and he had 78... or... i thought about it for a bit, couldnt work out what lloyd could have that he'd play that way and eventually called. my thinking was anything that had me very beaten like a set or a made straight he wouldnt push with in that spot.

aka: "i've top pair and a flush draw, eh call" i'm a fish! :p
