    Hi

Was looking at buying a Nikon camera from B&H in New York but there appear to be restrictions on where they will ship to.

Adorama - http://www.adorama.com/ will ship to Ireland - are they OK?

They have shipped for me too but Nikon have banned them from shipping high end Nikon gear outside of US as currency is so weak against Euro. European retailers obviously feeling pinch.

    So - Adorama ??

I've used Adorama before, but never to ship to Ireland. Brilliant prices and service. Never had a problem with them.

I had a 400mm Canon lens shipped to me by Adorama a few weeks ago. Brilliant service - I had it in three days. Just be aware that you will have to pay approx 21% duty on top of the total price (including shipping).

Adorama are on a par with B&H as regards reliability and quality of service is concerned. Both companies are owned by orthodox Jews and honesty in business dealings is a given. Have no hesitation in buying from them.

I got a tripod from them about this time last year, it was a good price but for the duty which I hadn't taken into account ... ooops. And the courier company then setting a debt collection agency on me, even though I'd paid the tax bill :( ... but can't really blame Adorama for any of that, just beware when making your decision on where to purchase from.
