Then with a little luck you will be able to keep the M4 and get the P90.;)

Well you could send them a big angry letter saying how importent it is that you had this on time and that you are exrtreamily dissapointed etc... then if you are lucky(very lucky) they will let you keep the m4... but then again chances are they will just ask you to send it back... i would tell them you need the P90 straight away and if they ask you to send it back tell them you wont do it untill they pay you for the cost of that. Then when they do pay you say: "this isnt good enough i have very little time in my hands and want the money for the time it is costing me to cosntantly have to reply to these emails, get packaging, pack the gun, make my way to the nearest post office and spend loads of time queing and all of these things that i shouldnt have to do."
then say something like you charge people €50 per hour for what you do.
And make sure to keep waisting thier time.

Oh what nice honest airsofters we are....nice positive image for airsoft.

Advising someone how to scam a free gun out of airsoft-warrior? do you WANT to get banned?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,414 ✭✭✭kdouglas

dont be scamming people, reply to them honestly and tell them they sent you the wrong aeg and could they send you the new one, if they ask you to send back the m4, ask them to cover shipping costs since it was their mistake

Now that i'v taken the €50 thing out it's not scaming at all but when they realise that they would save money by letting him keep it then as i said with a little luck they will do just that. Not scaming just helping them realise that they should give him what he paid for and that it will cost them more to take it back... and no, no i dont want to get banned

that reminds me, someone on arnies' posted a link to this today:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170121660480&rd=1&rd=1

cost just under €50 shipped to ireland, not a bad price considering last time i looked for them they were about €80+

Eh, you don't seem to understand what scamming is. It's lying to someone and creating false claims to try and get something for free. In this case, an AEG.

That's just premeditated and nasty. Better judgment should tell you not to do things like that. Or in this case, advise others to.

Worst case scenario, the store you're trying to scam a free gun out of sees that post. They then get onto their lawyers and ask them how to go about suing a website that offers advice to its members in how to scam their store. See where I'm going with this?

Remember, this ain't msn. It's a public forum. One a lot of people read.

Hello this is my first post. Ive done this in a rush because I have something to say about Airsoft-Warrior.com.
About a 2 months ago I received a phone call from them saying I had won their monthly prize draw. Fair enough I texted in my entry but never expected to win so it was a great supprise.
After emaling them my address and details they said they would send my my stuff. Alas it has been about 2 months and I have received nothing concerning my prizes. Occasionaly they do reply to emails but only to insist that "towards the end of the week we will dispatch your prizes..." that email itself was over a month ago.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing?

Oh no I did enter it. And thanx for the welcome.
Yes I did have an account with them beforhand (I think) I think I ordered some ammo off them. But I may have ordered it off action-hobbys. Who (without wanting to sound like Im plugging them) are very reliable.

It does seem quite strange, as on another airsoft forum, they never mentioned this site, whether that is just because it is not a respected retailer or whether it is, in fact, not a retailer at all.
Yet all the reviews on the site about products all seemed very positive. I am sure they are not fake as they all seemed to be quite, you know, 'nooby'. People not knowing the difference betwen a P-90 TR and the DR (the one used in stargate).

No actually the P90 with the red dot scope on top is called the...wait for it...P90! There's no DR, RD any of that crap. Its just the P90. Also for the record the P90 TR is used just as much as the P90 is in Stargate now.

Sorry for this post, just sick of people getting that wrong.

Oh thank for that. I wasnt sure about the red dot version. I hadnt noticed the TR used in stargate, I will have to keep an eye out for that. I saw Mitchel using a G36 one time which i thought looked pretty nice, I was supprised about the size of them though.
Anyway. So no-one has had this sort of problem with Airsoft-warrior before then?

Mitchell uses a G36 in the last series of Stargate (season 10). Its the full length non-export edition if I remember correctly.

The G36K is a carbine length version of the G36 (slightly shorter barrel and handgaurd) which can be seen in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

since getting the m4 instead of the p90 (the original post of the thread), my mates ordered me an AEG (forget what exactly). it arrived broken and after several emails they stopped replying and we never got it sorted - there is another thread on this somewhere...

you sure "k" doesn't stand for kurtz?
and "c" doesn't stand for carbine?
always thought that was how it worked

mark is right K =kutz C= carbine or commando bit of a pointless arguement me thinks a P90 is just what it is.G36 more or less the same ,not much to do with the original post
