Hi Guys, I'm looking for information on joining fees and subs (full male) for clubs nationwide. Any chance you can post club name and joining fee, sub please.

I will collate results and publish so we can all see where the value is.

Killeen Golf CLub - Kill, Co. Kildare sub is €1180 including €100 for food / bar and insurance, gui fee etc.

joining fee - you can either buy a share in the company - going rate is about €14K but as its an open market you need to do a deal with the person selling so no fixed price. You can lease a share for the year with no joining fee but it depends on whether there's one to lease and no guarantees it'll be there next year.

check the business posts archive, they do this every year.

imo we are going to see good value on the way for joining fees, it is linked to the housing market/inflation and can see them start to fall in a hurry. Saw an ad the other day for someone selling their carton house membership for 20k saying it was 30k to buy normally.

Harbour Point (Cork) dropped their entry fee from €10k to €5.5k last year, courses will struggle.

Castlemartyr is looking for €20k, Blarney is looking for €15,000 but has around 60 members in 12 months.
