    Hi there,
I got a line6 toneport recently and there is a very strange popping noise that occurs every few seconds. It's a very harsh noise. Anyone experience anything similar? I was thinking it may be my computer spec. My processor is fine I think but I think I fall a bit short on the RAM. Would this cause this popping noise I wonder, or is it something else obvious?

    THanks

Probably a lack of CPU power if you have latency set too low. 5ms is about right for real time recording.

A quick work-around (for Windows) is to go into Task Manager, find the audio program you're using in the list of processes, right click and set priority to "High".
