Places to cycle?

Anyone know of any nice flat ground areas to cycle in, South Dublin preferably? I just can't seem to shift my weight up a hill without almost dying!!! I'd like to stick to flat ground and work on general fitness before getting out of my depth!!! Thanks

I'd like to stick to flat ground and work on general fitness

I'm no expert on south Dublin but it does seem preposterously hilly. If you're prepared to try the northside, the bike path from Fairview to Sutton along the coast road is pretty flat. Also, there are fairly large chunks of the Phoenix Park which are pretty flat, and it's quite scenic.
